Teyana Wants Iman In Jail! Seeks Contempt Charges In Ongoing Divorce Drama

Teyana is not playing with ex hubby Iman Shumpert ! Dispite being offcially divorced, their relationship has taken another contentious turn, as the singer and actress is now taking legal action against him, seeking to have him locked up for contempt of court. According to recent reports, Teyana has filed a petition against Iman, claiming he violated court orders and failed to comply with their divorce settlement.
The couple, who had been together for over a decade, finalized their divorce in late 2022 after a years-long relationship marked by both highs and lows. They tied the knot in 2016, and their marriage was blessed with two children, but despite the apparent closeness they maintained, cracks in their relationship became more apparent in recent years.
Teyana, known for her chart-topping music and acting career, and Iman, a former NBA star, separated in 2022, citing irreconcilable differences. Their divorce proceedings were relatively smooth on the surface, but as new developments unfold, it appears tensions are far from over.
In her petition, Teyana insists that the divorce was never a “settlement” as it has been portrayed. Instead, she claims that the division of assets, including vehicles and a tour bus, was not the result of an amicable agreement but rather the enforcement of court orders. She specifically mentions that she was the one who footed the bill for the tour bus, further asserting that the agreement was one-sided.
Taylor has now turned her attention to Iman’s alleged failure to meet the requirements of their agreement. Her legal team has argued that his actions violate the terms laid out in their divorce decree, prompting her to demand that the court hold him in contempt.
The ongoing legal battle is just the latest chapter in the turbulent relationship between the former couple. As of now, Teyana is determined to see through the enforcement of the court’s original ruling, and only time will tell how this drama will unfold.
