Omarion recently sat down with Sherri to dish on everything from celibacy to relationships, and got a few eyebrows raised. The 40-year-old R&B heartthrob dove headfirst into the topic of non-monogamous relationships.

When Sherri brought up the whole idea of “ethical non-monogamy” (basically a fancy term for open relationships), Omarion was like, “I don’t really know all the terms, but yeah, I’m here for it!” His reasoning? “Women just truly outnumber the men.” Cue the audience’s collective gasp.

“Wait, Omarion, are you saying this is an ‘all-you-can-eat buffet’ situation?” Sherri asked, half-joking. And Omarion, being the calm, cool, and collected soul that he is, dropped this bomb: “Let me just say, it’s only a few good men. Whether or not it’s a physical thing, we end up fostering the next generation.” I mean, okay, Omarion, you’ve got us thinking now.

But here’s the kicker: Omarion’s outlook is all about balance. He’s like, “I was raised by all women, why not let our queens align with that?” And honestly, let’s just be real—he’s not wrong. Society loves to paint men as the “head of the household,” but according to Omarion, it’s gonna take more than just one dude to get the job done. Men have their roles, but so do women—especially in raising the next generation.

And he’s not the only one thinking outside the box. Celebs like Nick Cannon, who’s practically the face of “plenty of options” with his growing tribe of children, and Ne-Yo, who’s been vocal about his open marriage in the past, are all about that non-monogamous life. Finesse2Tyme, who’s been openly open about his relationships, and Lou Williams have also come out to say that they like to keep their relationship dynamics a little more… flexible. Looks like they’re not just breaking hearts—they’re rewriting the relationship rulebook.

In 2025, women are outnumbering men in most parts of the world (the stats show about 102 women to 100 men). This gender imbalance has some serious implications—less men, more competition for relationships, and a lot of women running the show. Sorry fellas, looks like you’re not the only ones with options now.

To put it simply, Omarion’s vision for relationships? More love, less drama, and hey, it takes a village—just make sure the village is full of queens.
