Lemuel Plummer, the CEO and founder of Zeus Network, has built one of the most talked-about platforms in urban entertainment. Growing up in a media-savvy family that owned local stations, Plummer noticed a major gap—there were no Black-owned, full-service production companies dominating the space. Determined to change that, he launched Zeus, which has since exploded with hit shows like Baddies and Joseline’s Cabaret.
In an exclusive interview, Plummer didn’t just discuss his business empire—he also addressed the rumors swirling around his personal life. For years, speculation has surrounded his relationships with employees and talent from Zeus shows particularly Scotty from Baddies . He set the record straight on whether he’s ever been married and if he has children. Surprisingly, despite his industry reputation, Plummer revealed that he grew up in a strict faith-based household and didn’t lose his virginity until he was 21.
But even with Zeus’s massive success, Plummer insists he’s just getting started. His next big project, in collaboration with Jonathan Majors, is something he believes is Oscar worthy and could take his career to new heights. He also revealed that major celebrities, including Kanye West, Chris Brown, and Floyd Mayweather, have approached him with project ideas, hinting at even bigger things on the horizon.
There’s a lot to unpack in this crazy , unfiltered interview. Part one drops today at 3 PM on our YouTube page—you don’t want to miss this!
