NYC rapper Lil TJay is calling out Offset, one-third of Migos and (separated ) husband to Cardi B, for not only owing him money but being flat-out broke. Could Cardi B’s Shein deals be a facade for financial struggles?
TJay spilled the tea during a Twitch livestream, claiming Offset was panicking at a casino, broke, and begging for Cash Apps like someone chasing a jackpot just out of reach. Allegedly, Offset borrowed $5,000 from TJay, only to ghost him faster than a TikTok trend.

And it gets worse. Offset didn’t stop at TJay. He reportedly borrowed from anyone with a Venmo account, leading to angry DMs that sound like reality show scripts. “Wyaaaaaaaa ngl ima smack the whole s**t out you,” TJay threatened, presumably after Offset’s debt-dodging antics went too far. Offset’s retort? A classic denial, dodging the drama like a stray punch at a Migos concert.
This led the internet to question Cardi B’s financial situation. Is she flaunting her wealth to cover up being broke? When fans called her “broke” after her Shein partnership, Cardi clapped back with the fury of a thousand Twitter fingers. In a space on X (formerly Twitter), she dropped financial receipts, revealing she spends about $3 million a month. For doubters, she claimed she could wake up and sign a contract for half of $70 million. “This is my off year, by the way,” she casually flexed, leaving everyone reeling.

But why the Shein deal if she’s rolling in dough? Cardi explained it’s all business acumen: she’s holding off on tour deals until her album drops, playing the long game for bigger bucks. “You can’t act hungry when you’re not,” she schooled the masses.
Despite the internet’s obsession with their finances, Offset and Cardi are still living large. Offset, who’s apparently broke but still balling in Dubai, reportedly spent $100,000 at a Chanel store. If he’s broke, he’s the bougiest broke person ever.
Cardi, meanwhile, continues flaunting her wealth, even accidentally revealing the name of her third child while showing off her Eliantte bling. “Just know the entire wrist is Eliantte b—h,” she declared, reminding everyone she’s far from a Shein budget.
Whether Offset is actually broke or just playing broke for the drama, one thing’s clear: Cardi B isn’t just surviving—she’s thriving, clapping back at haters with million-dollar receipts and business moves that keep her one step ahead. So, is Offset really broke? Maybe. But if Cardi’s financial moves are anything to go by, they’re both still very much in the game, playing it their way.
