Omari Hardwick’s character Ghost was killed off in the final season of 50 Cent’s ‘Power’ series. It might be safe to say that was planned, as he may not return to the cast.
50 Cent revealed in his latest interview that he is not very fond of Omari Hardwick. 50 Cent expresses that he feels Omari Hardwick has an inflated perception of himself and that his value really lies in a project he is no longer apart of. 50 Cent says that Hardwick has done many projects since his departure of the show, yet he is not ‘excited’ about any of his new castings, compared to the excitement he had playing Ghost.

“I think he overvalues himself to be honest with you” 50 cent told the breakfast club. “It’s been a long time since he hasn’t been in Power, why is he not excited about his new projects?”

Many fans are still scratching their heads at the decision for Tariq to murder his father, and it looks like Hardwick is one of them. During a panel at the Uninterrupted Film Festival, Hardwick highlighted his disdain towards the lack of continuity in Ghost’s story.
“I have so much empathy for the fans, bro,” Hardwick said. “Because you were sold and told a story that did not continue in the way that it was sold and told to me that it would continue. So, you have every right to be hitting me up at every airport, every bus stop.”
