Donald Trump Says He Won’t Run Again in 2028 if He Loses in 2024

He recently sat down with “Full Measure” host Sharyl Attkisson for an interview and Trump made it clear: “No, I don’t. I think … that will be it. I don’t see that at all,” adding, “Hopefully, we’re gonna be successful.”

This statement signals that 2024 may be Trump’s final shot at the presidency. After two attempted assassination attempts, this seems like the best decision to make. At 78 years old, Trump is the oldest presidential candidate in U.S. history, surpassing current President Joe Biden, who is 81. If Trump were to run again in 2028, he would be 82, an age that many political analysts believe could raise concerns among voters, similar to the ones Biden currently faces.
Trump’s decision not to run in 2028 if he loses raises questions about his political future and the direction of the Republican Party.
