At 52, the ever-evolving Common might be ready to put a ring on it. After years of mingling with A-list royalty, the rapper-turned-actor is now sparking serious marriage rumors with none other than Jennifer Hudson. The buzz began in 2022, but the pair made it official in January when Common dropped by “The Jennifer Hudson Show” with a bouquet and a whole lot of praise.

On her show, Common didn’t hold back. “I’m in a relationship with one of the most beautiful people I’ve met in life. She’s smart, she loves God, and she’s got this real down-to-earth vibe. Plus, she’s insanely talented,” he gushed, leaving viewers swooning.
Fast forward to a recent chit-chat on “The Breakfast Club,” where Common, promoting his new album with Pete Rock, doubled down on his affection and future plans. “With all due respect to the women I’ve dated, it’s all love, but this is a really healthy and beautiful relationship,” the “Come Close” lyricist shared. “I’m just doing my best to keep God first and communicate. I’m taking all the lessons from past relationships, the failures, and turning them into something positive.”
He continued, “Life is about creating happiness, joy, and love. She’s from where I’m from spiritually and geographically, and just from where I’m from as a person.”
Common’s candid reflections hint at a man who’s grown from his experiences, now channeling his energy into what could be his most significant relationship yet.
